Heart of Brass

When Nessie's father died, he left a fund for his wife and his daughter, both of whom had been ill for years. Nessie receives the first ever mechanical heart transplant known in New Briton. But, despite being given the freedom to roam and explore, with her new heart comes a new issue, someone wants the heart for themselves. With the first friend she's made is 12 years, Dana -- one of her physicians, Nessie must brave a world she'd long forgotten and face what may be a heartless enemy.
