Excel 2000 : An Introductory Course for Students

This is one of a series of course books for students, teaching the skills required to make full and effective use of modern software. It can be used as a course text for group learning, or individually for independent learning. The series covers the key Microsoft Office 2000 components of Access, Excel and Word, and for each of these applications there is an introductory and an advanced book. This introductory book does not assume any previous knowledge of Excel 2000, and introduces concepts and functions at a measured pace, allowing the beginner to become familiar with the main features of the software one by one. The approach of the book is that the user will be able to learn by doing. Each topic includes exercises to complete which illustrate the theory and help to reinforce the learning.
