Beginning C#

The C# language and its associated environment, the .NET Framework, is one of the most important new technologies to arrive in many years. .NET is designed to provide a new environment within which you can develop almost any application to run on Windows, while C# is a new programming language, evolved from the C and C++ languages, created by Microsoft specifically to work with the .NET platform. The C# language has been designed with hindsight, taking into account many of the best features from other languages while clearing up their problems.
