This is Clive Small's personal account of how he led the investigation into the Belanglo State Forest murders and convicted the Backpacker Murderer, Ivan Milat. He brings to this story the unique perspective from his leadership role, and many fascinating and new revelations. He tells it like it happened, and so we follow the detectives' leads and suspicions, until they get their man. Subsequently there was an attempt to link Milat with a very large number of unsolved crimes, including the murder of Samantha Knight.
