About the Author: My husband, Roger Eichelbeger, a retired Professor, was asked, ""What will you do with all your time in retirement?"" His response was, ""I feel more could be done to help struggling, unemployed or underemployed people to work in jobs for a better income."" Roger knew what it was like to have very little. When he was a kid, his Dad experienced an unexpected brain surgery, complications and paralysis. As a result, his family faced big challenges. Without help from family, church, friends, his parents, and prayers, he could not have overcome this catastrophe. Thank God his Dad's paralysis and speech improved with time. For four years after his retirement, Roger had opportunities to do substitute teaching, reading, volunteering, vacationing, and socializing with friends and family. He still had this lingering premonition to help others. What could be done? The idea was born. His hope and passion went into high gear at the computer, sharing stories and lessons learned from his years of working. Empowered with a strong faith and work ethic, he continued writing. his book is about encouraging those who are earning less than a good wage, may not be happy with life, and want to have a good job. It is much like his autobiography. His 31 years of teaching experience played an important role in recalling the many challenges people deal with daily. For twenty-two years, he taught vocational college classes - training and retraining adults to receive their degrees and eventually placing many of them into good jobs. He is grateful for valuable experiences as an educator, businessman, husband, father and grandfather. His objective for writing this book is to give hope to many readers, who can truly feel his compassion to help them in their search to reach their potential, and experience happiness with what they are doing. - LouAnn Eichelberger
