Psychology of Threat

In this book, the authors present current research in the psychology of threat. Topics discussed include the processing of threatening health information which promotes disease preventive behaviours; psychological reactions to threats of self-integrity; human reactions to threat from a group-level perspective; stereotype threat; cognitive self-regulation skills; and measuring threat as it relates to social policy.
