Psychology of Sadness

In this book, the authors present current research in the study of the psychology of sadness. Topics discussed include the grieving process and living with persons with bipolar affective disorder; depression and pregnancy; children's knowledge of the consequences of expressing sadness; the themes of sadness and frustration among returning combat veterans; and the perception and experience of sadness in music.
