Conversations with Churchill tells the story of the World War II experiences of Iowan Maurice Weisbrod. Raised in a small town of less than four hundred people in the northwest part of Iowa, this volume tells of Weisbrod's desire and decision to serve in the Navy during the war. In the process he traversed over half the globe, engaged in battle, helped transport high ranking dignitaries and much to his surprise was afforded the opportunity to sit and visit with Winston Churchill.
