This publication sets out guidance on concepts and definitions, sources and techniques relating to the compilation of financial soundness indicators (FSIs), data which identifies the current financial health and status of national financial institutions. The guide is intended to promote cross-country comparison of these data to help support national and international surveillance of financial systems.
