Beyond Disengagement

The purpose of this book is to address the "now what do I do" question s that physicians ask as they encounter the challenges of retooling th eir practices. The book will discuss the financial, operational and s trategic issues that lead to the decision to disengage. Readers will learn how the organization makes the decision of which practices or ph ysicians to "disengage." The book will walk the reader through a time table of what is likely to happen, and when. Case models will give ex amples of what type of disengagement package the physician can expect, and will provide situational examples which the readers can elect to follow, or in some cases avoid, as they reenter the practice managemen t arena.
