A Guide to Direction of Trade Statistics

This handbook has been issued by the IMF to assist users of the IMF's direction of trade statistics data base. The Guide contains recommendations that form the basis for the direction of trade statements regularly made available by the IMF in its major statistical publications, Direction of Trade Statistics and International Financial Statistics in this field.
