Delicious Soup Making

Being from a rowhouse environment; living above, and squeezed in between two families, I invited the old Summac tree outside the hall window of my home sweet home, where it was very drawing, to see a happy bird bathing and chirping. The fresh air was so inviting, as it was for me. I hung the birdcage by the open window after cleaning the cage out, from bird droppings. Mom always had a canary or two; or parakeets. The birds had food, water, a clean house, and fresh air. That is health and survival. That sparked my interest as a child to wonder about survival. Even as far as longevity. I cook from scratch. My soups are my lifeline. You cannot expect to find this interest in restaurants. Theyre too big and too busy. No more Mamma And Papa restaurants, where soup was cooked on premises, fresh, clean, and natural.
