Leadership for Educational Psychologists : Principles and Practicalities

This book is written by educational psychologists (EPs) for EPs in leadership positions or those aspiring to become leaders. It offers a combination of refelections from practitioners past and present combined pertinent practical exemplars to support the role of a leader. A number of themes run throughout the chapters. These address the importance of context both national and local; the continual debate over the nature of leadership; the concern for equity in practice and ethical practice. Finally, it emphasises the importance of building and maintaining relationships at all levels, especially during challenging times. It is hoped that this book will provide access to literature, guidance and ideas that support the development of capable leaders within the profession.
