The 3CX Phone System is designed as an easy-to-use, software-based IP PBX platform that is built to run on Microsoft Windowsâ„¢ platforms. While there are other phone systems that run on Windows they basically break down into two categories, either very expensive proprietary systems that are complicated to deploy and manage or they are ports of Linux-based software that is running in an emulation mode and requires complicated configuration files to use.
