When she was a new bride back in the 1930s, Ida went to people's homes and asked for recipes of their most notable dishes. Now she has compiled this collection of prize-winning, down-home recipes from the marvelous cooks she came to know in Viola, Tennessee. It combines the most popular recipes from her two previous cookbooks, plus new recipes that she has continued to collect.
