Nature Diary of a Quiet Pedestrian

This book is a lyrical appreciation of West coast nature by the brilliarit naturalist Philip Croft. Set in a diary form, it is based on Croft's regular daily walk through his own neighbourhood in West Vancouver, into the forest and down to the beach. Illustrated by the author with sketches and water colour paintings, the book is a beautifully articulate, humourous and philosophical tribute to the west coast's seasons. Nature Diary of a Quiet Pedestrian is delightful, educational and a very pleasant read.
