Eyelid Myoclinia with Absences

Eyelid myoclonia with absences is a recently described and under-recognized syndrome of idiopathic generalized epilepsy. The diagnosis may be confused with tics, attempts at self-induction and epilepsy syndromes with a better prognosis, such as childhood absence epilepsy.
