A Study of the Impact of Urbanisation on the Thames Gravels Aquifer

This report examines the hydrological and hydrogeological regime associated with the Thames Gravel aquifer system in the Tyburn and Peck catchment areas. It explains the effects on engineering structures and the environment, and recommends further monitoring of the Peck catchment area. Data was obtained from historical records and from a network of dedicated monitoring boreholes in the lower part of the Tyburn catchment and by a desk study for the Peck.
