This work is the first in a series of edited volumes concerned with the evolution, implementation and analysis of European rural policy. This volume examines the shifting relationship of agricultural, environmental and food politics within Europe focusing on specific areas of change including agricultural restructuring, agriculture-environment relations and consumer preferences.
