Communicating Care : The Language of Nursing

Nurses spend much of their time in written and spoken communication with a very wide cross-section of the population, from patients and their carers, friends and families, to nursing colleagues and other health-care professionals. This text aims to help nurses to acquire a more critical view of their use of language in professional practice.
