Pathways into Caring

An introduction to the social care environment and what it means to work with clients in this sector. It gives a comprehensive overview of the social care provision in residential settings and the community, an exploration of the underpinning theory of human development and behaviour and practical activities which help to develop key caring skills such as good communication. It is intended for those studying towards the NVQs and GNVQs in health and social care, C&G 324(1), 325(1), 331, Diploma in Vocational Education and Certificate in Welfare Studies (CWS).
