Marriage to a bipolar personality produced many ups and downs during 47 years of varied pursuits, strengthened by the stress of many changes: five children; constant mood swings; a failed business; the vagaries of farming; illness and death of parents. This account is about surviving and thriving in the midst of chaos, encouragement for those with mental problems who can see no light at the end of the tunnel.
