The New American Community : A Response to the European and Asian Economic Challenge

This work proposes a new American economic community as a response to the rise of the European Community and the increasing domination of the Asian market by Japan. The author develops a strategy and structure for such an American community - including North, Central and South America - which would represent the largest economic market in the world. He proposes a massive free-trade zone including all of the Western Hemisphere, which would not only revitalize the economic position of the United States but would raise the standards of living of all nations in this hemisphere.
